Your Emotional Eating Emperor Is Wearing No Clothes

Unless and until emotional eating feels like an odd and unreasonable response to how you are feeling, it makes all kinds of sense that you’ll keep doing it.

What’s interesting about you (among other things :-) , but this is my focus) is how often you already find emotional eating an odd and unreasonable response to how you are feeling.

And while you finding it odd just once a day would be enough to get us started on you making your way out of the weigh-in, it’s actually several times a day that you’re finding eating when you’re not hungry so unappealing and unappetizing that you can’t even begin to imagine it.

What you want is going unnoticed, not undone.

Take you, as recently as yesterday, for example.

Yesterday, you felt an emotion that you didn’t eat about, that you could have eaten about.  (Probably several, but who’s counting.  Oh that’s right, I am.  In fact, it’s all I count because it’s all that counts.  Join me?)

Neither one of us would be going out on any limbs by saying that you feeling at least one emotion, and you not eating about it, happened the day before that, and the day before that, and the day before that.

When you feel an emotion that you don’t eat in response to, it’s because to do so you would have to overcome the significant objections you are feeling to doing it.

(When it’s felt easy for you not to eat emotionally, it’s been because… ?)

And when you feel something and you don’t eat in response to it, but you could have, does that captivate you the way emotional eating does?

Keeping in mind that we get what we focus on, what will happen if you focus on if “I’m feeling, and I could be eating, but I’m not”?

What will happen when you can see that your emotional eating emperor is wearing no clothes?

Get what you already have.  (And remember that thanks to you, there’s always more where that is coming from.)

Can you think of a time recently that you felt emotional and could have eaten, but didn’t?

Please keep in mind the most significant time of all…

That time that you felt bad about eating to feel good, and you could have eaten more, but you didn’t.

(Details coming soon on how to access more of the objections you have to overeating.  You were born with them, but most of us don’t even notice that we’re tripping over them.  If you’d rather not wait for the Formal Offer or the Official Buy Now Button, you can let me know via the contact form below, and we’ll chat for 30 minutes about what more you’ve already got waiting for you, and how we can get at it.)
