Let’s say you’ve decided that you and I are about to make your move off the diet plantation.
What will you wish you had known about me before we started crushing your diet?
I don’t like working with people who wish they could just change themselves.
The reason is because it’s bad (very) for some very important business.
My business is crushing diets.
If you have a diet monkey riding your back, I could be your girl.
But the only reason you’re in this predicament is because the diet monkey sensed an opening.
All day long, he’s whipping you into shape, explaining to you that you’re so right to diet, you do need to change, something about you does need fixing.
As long as you’re listening to and acting on that nasty dribble, your attention is diverted from what you are already doing.
And it’s what you are ALREADYdoing, that will change… everything.
So much so, that I’ll want to know that you’re willing to see that, before I make you my business.
People say this guy knew a thing or two about masterpieces.
“I saw the angel in the marble and carved until I set him free.” Michelangelo
As long as you understand that I won’t have any part of trying to ruin a masterpiece, then I’ve got your back; let’s get into some monkey business together, and get him out of yours.
(Michelangelo would be so proud.)

That’s my favorite statue. Period. I love the breath taking humanity that’s shown in a mother’s grasp. Thanks for sharing!
Your post reminds me of the Pema Chodron quote – something like, the desire to change is fundamentally an act of violence against yourself. If you need the exact one, let me know and I’ll find it.
Good work here Karen!
Hi Claudia!
Thanks for your time today – it was great to catch up – and I would love that quote!!!!
