I can understand why you might be wondering… just who are these audacious, undaunted and enterprising women who would dare to eat what they want, with the expectation that only good can come of it?
You might be thinking that “how we do anything is how we do everything”, and guessing – correctly – that their approach to life might be infused into both their personal and professional lives, all to the good of those around them. If you’re wanting to get to know these women who are not just kidding around about having their cake and eating it, too, a bit better, this page is at least a start, as well as a place to get information on how to get in touch with them, directly.
I will post more of the Crusher’s bios here as I get them. Enjoy getting to know them, it’s certainly been my pleasure. (I’m sure you’ll see why I couldn’t help myself!)

Maureen Carruthers started crushing her diet in June 2011 because she was tired of wasting so much time and energy worrying about what she was (and wasn’t) going to eat next. After 8 weeks of working with Karen and the other Diet Crushers, she got her wish and all that food-thinking time was suddenly available for more interesting ventures. Maureen is also proud to have coined the unofficial tag line for Diet Crushing: Intuitive Eating for Snarky People.
Now Maureen spends her new found time at Low Hanging Fruit Communications helping her right people start changing the world, and at PlayMoreGamez.com making the world a bit brighter by encouraging more people to play more games more often.

Deb Smith has been crushing her diet since June 2011. ”I have dieted ever since I remember as a kid and all my life have had so many issues with my body and felt socially so inadequate and judged!
I don’ think there isn’t a diet I haven’t tried! Like most who live this life, my weight has gone up and down several times over the years, yet I continue to put the weight on again
and the battle begins again. I didn’t believe that Effindiets could be right, but what the hell, I had nothing to lose, it was really just like trying another diet at the end of the day. Effindiets has provided me what I call “Food Freedom”, the initial “weight” lifted (pardon the pun) was amazing.”
“I am not going to pretend its fixed me overnight, these things take time. What is has done for me is shifted my mind around food. It’s taught me what hungry feels like, I don’t think I have ever felt this. It’s taught me I can eat the things that I enjoy rather than feeling obligated to eat certain foods because thats what I should be eating. If I feel like hot chips then hot chips I will have, BUT, I choose to stop eating them when I am full, I don’t have to eat them all, I am lucky enough to live in a world where I can go back and get more should I still feel hungry! It’s ok to leave food on the plate, food is abundant and I can have it whenever I want to. I have an amazing sense of awareness of how I am feeling and even though I am as busy as I was before the robotic eating just doesn’t happen these days.”
“It’s a massive mind shift and many years for most of us to reverse the conditioning we have all had. I am sure as a kid your mum told you that you could not leave the table unless you had eaten everything! God damn, that’s not the deal at all, if you care not to eat everything then that’s ok!”
“We all have choices and effindiets is all about choices, choices we make and changes we choose to make. We think that we can only be happy when we are thin, amazingly thin people are sad sometimes too! ”
